5 Card Draw Rules
5 Card Draw is a very popular poker game. It's actually a very old poker game and I'm sure that everyone starts playing poker with this type of game.
Each player receives five cards face down and each player has the opportunity to improve their hand through a single draw. The goal of every player is to make the best five-card combination after a single draw.
Steps in 5 Card Draw
1. Post blinds
The two players from the left of the dealer are forced to put blinds in the pot like in flop games.
2. Dealing cards
Every player receive five cards face down.

3. First betting round
The first player (player from the left of the dealer) has the option to fold, call or raise. Action continues clockwise until all players from the poker table chose what they want to do. When this betting round is finished there will be a draw.
4. Draw
Every player beginning with the player on the left of the dealer has the option to select which cards he wishes to discard. If the player considers that he already has a good hand he can withdraw from this step and wait for the other players to finish this draw. This process continues clockwise until all players from the poker table take an action. After this step there is another betting round beginning with the first active player on the left of the dealer.

5. Second betting round
The first active player on the left of the dealer has the option to fold, call or raise. Action continues clockwise until all remainng players from the poker table have taken a choise. When this betting round is finished there will be a showdown.
6. Showdown
The player with the best five card hand wins the entire pot. If more than one player has the same hand then the pot is splitted. Suits are not used to evaluating the winning hand.
